And so the year comes to the end and contestants are showing their submissions.
I'm quite impressed with this year game selection after playing each game.
Some of the games have game and level design potential, some of the games comply with the requirement about "a complete game", there are high tech games, several ambitious 3D projects and even a "stolen" game.
Alltogether it means that developers are getting more experienced, there are familiar nicks from the last year and their projects are getting better with each year.
I'm not going to give any reviews as that might create a false feeling of the Jury favorite or add some weird and wrong feeling that everything is already voted.
I hope that someone else will also share their feelings after playing all games. _________________ http://innowate.com - 5 million players worldwide! |

I shall refrain from speaking too much until after the official results become availeable, but I will say that I am very happy with the games this year.
A few of them have some great addictive qualities and have already gotten me playing for a few hours straight. I am hoping to see a few possible patches to fix some issues and kick the games up a notch.
All in all, a good year for games. I think it is obvious that the contest itself and the participants are getting better & better each year. Hope this tendency remains strong. |
