vairaak veltiits tiem darboņiem kas savas idejas neizpauž, lai kaads taas nenozagtu
We all have that one friend who says, “I had the idea for eBay. If only I had acted on it, I’d be a billionaire!” That logic is pathetic and delusional. Having the idea for eBay has nothing to do with actually creating eBay. What you do is what matters, not what you think or say or plan.
Think your ideas that valuable? Then go try to sell it and see what you get for it. Not much is probably the answer. Until you actually start making something, your brilliant idea is just that— an idea. And everyone’s got one of those.
Stanley Kubrick gave this advice to aspiring filmmakers: “Get hold of a camera and some film and make a movie of any kind at all.” Kubrick knew that when you’re new at something, you need to start creating. The most important thing is to begin. So get a camera, hit record, and start shooting.
Ideas are cheap and plentiful. The original pitch idea is such a small part of a business that it’s almost negligible. The real question is how well you execute. |

Nu ja, tas pats, kas vecais labais:
Quote: | It's so funny when I hear people being so protective of ideas. (People who want me to sign an NDA to tell me the simplest idea.)
To me, ideas are worth nothing unless executed. They are just a multiplier. Execution is worth millions.
Explanation:
AWFUL IDEA = -1
WEAK IDEA = 1
SO-SO IDEA = 5
GOOD IDEA = 10
GREAT IDEA = 15
BRILLIANT IDEA = 20
NO EXECUTION = $1
WEAK EXECUTION = $1000
SO-SO EXECUTION = $10,000
GOOD EXECUTION = $100,000
GREAT EXECUTION = $1,000,000
BRILLIANT EXECUTION = $10,000,000
To make a business, you need to multiply the two.
The most brilliant idea, with no execution, is worth $20.
The most brilliant idea takes great execution to be worth $20,000,000.
That's why I don't want to hear people's ideas.
I'm not interested until I see their execution. |

Vai tad cilvēki jau nebija atmetuši ideju sargāšanu? Pēdējā laikā nav gadījies redzēt neko tādu.. _________________ "There are two choices here: "looks good" and "realism"." -- Paul Nettle |

Gandrīz jebkurš palielāks uzņēmums, vismaz IT jomā, savas idejas sargā kā traks suns uz siena kaudzes (to spriežu pēc savas darbavietas un tā klientu rīcības). |

Ah, uzņēmumi.. Nu tas ir saprotams. Grib viņi gan noslinkot uz idejas implementāciju, gan savākt maksimālu peļņu, ko nevarēs izdarīt, ja kāds cits būs realizējis ideju daudz labāk.. _________________ "There are two choices here: "looks good" and "realism"." -- Paul Nettle |
