We are looking for:
- Web developers - Senior level PHP
To code clean blazing fast game logic code on top of proven and simple framework.
Required: up-to-date knowledge of high-performance PHP/MySQL/AJAX programming with memory caching techniques (memcached) for high load systems (We ♥ 10k+ players online).
Side knowledge to learn: configuration-based performance optimization and clustering via nginx.
- Flash/Flex developer - pure ActionScript 3
To code top-notch social games, be it a strategy or an action shooter.
Knowledge of copypixels and networking (proxy-loaders or rtmp) is highly preferred.
NEW: training and guidance provided for C++/Java/J2ME developers who want to switch to AS3. Requires previous game development experience.
- Senior level system administrator
To build a self-replicating indestructible cloud.
Linux, high load clusters (60%, la 4+), stress tests, php/nginx/mysql/memcached/eaccel/cloud. Knowledge of shell and other scripting languages required (e.g. php/perl/python)
- Art director for OWN web products - AAA class - senior position
UX/UI-focused (user experience in new generation UI).
Like zune.net software? Have experience in designing mind-blowing UI for iPhone applications? Care about usability. We do too.
- Database programmer - High performance MySQL
With knowledge of scaling via sharding, configuration-based
optimization along with best practices for memory-based caching (memcached) on programming side and profiling techniques. JOIN and EXPLAIN us.
- Cool 3D/2D artist
2D (texturing, color correction), 3D (modeling, uv mapping, scene lighting, rendering)

snake5 - we were the first to release the city building genre game on Facebook last year. In next 2 weeks got cloned by other city builders. There's no cloning on our side, it's pure innovation. Uz facebook'a - protams. Bet vispār - ir gandrīz tādas pašas spēles citur rādītas. Visādi Second Life, tycoon'i, Sim*** spēles. Vai varbūt es īsti nesapratu, kas tur izveidots? I suggest to read some books on innovation. Innovations, revolutions and evolutions depend on "a perception" of an observer. Is iPhone evolution, innovation or disruption? It's a properly timed, hyped and, what's more important, marketed EVOLUTION product when observed by an industry analytic. It's a revolution in the eyes of a consumer. It's an innovation for competitors.
We tend to combine evolutionary elements, revolutionary game design approaches and innovative technology bits and pieces. Actually we aim to mix and match all those words in each product. You could visit http://www.farmanthology.com/ , a Farming Game genre directory we've developed. Could you spot innovation, revolutions and evolutions in 50 farming games from around the world? We do, and we struggle to differentiate ourselves from others to be successful. Being different and unique will make you niche and unprofitable. Izskatās, ka tiešām ir pētīts viss. Tas jau ir forši.
